Family Update

Hey everyone! I hope everyone has been having a great week and has a fabulous Friday today! We recently had family photos taken, so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to do a little family update.

Laren

Laren doesn’t make too many appearances on the blog, but he is a huge contributor. He takes all of my photos and helps me with different business things. He is currently working really hard as a digital marketing manager for Intermountain Healthcare. On top of his regular job he is a volunteer member of the clergy leadership in our church, working on an MBA, and doing wedding and family photography! His life is just a tad bit crazy, but I love his passion and hard work.

Jessica (Me)

Most days I’m busy holding the fort down at home with our two kids. I wouldn’t trade being home with my kids for anything in the world. I’ve also been working hard on some changes/projects involving the blog. I’m hoping I can get things rolled out by Christmas! When I’m not home I’m most likely at my other job as a Crisis Worker/social worker in the ER of a nearby hospital. I love my job, even though it can be intense at times I love getting the opportunity to help people who are struggling.

Carter

Carter is busy being a 3 yr old boy! He spends his days playing outside in the dirt with his trucks or inside finding things to investigate. He is doing preschool at home and learning leaps and bounds. He can now spell his name out loud and write it down and is very proud of himself. He loves reading books and playing with play-dough.  He also loves rough housing with dad and playing hide and seek. He took swimming lessons all summer and is really excited to start up again in a couple weeks!

Amelia

Miss Amelia is doing just peachy! She is just barely 8 months and is just the happiest most patient baby around. She loves to sit up and play with toys. She thinks about crawling, but hasn’t taken the plunge yet. She LOVES food and thinks she needs everyone’s food all the time, even if she’s stuffed. She loves veggie straws along with any type of bread. She’s going to be a carb loving girl for sure! She loves her brother and giggles at just about anything he does.

Also you guys, I am so in love with our family photos! The amazing Brianne Heiner did them and she is phenomenal! We took them up at Donut Falls and it started snowing about 15 min in and she seriously worked magic with us, freezing kids and all!
